Drake has hired Iowa native Joe Woodley as the new head coach of the Bulldogs. Woodley is three days removed from winning the NAIA national championship with Grand View University. For Woodley, perhaps the best part of this move is that Drake and Grand View are both in Des Moines, Iowa so he doesn't even have to move.

Stepsis lost more than 5 in a season. Multiple seasons, I think.

If you look a little closer at those five losses, what's really remarkable is that he never had a year with more than one total loss. Each one of those five losses came in the NAIA playoffs meaning that Grand View went through their regular season undefeated in each of the six years Woodley was head coach there.
