UC Davis @ South Dakota: 6,135 (83.3% of USD's regular season average of 7,364
Idaho @ Montana St: 18,127 (82.8% on Montana St's regular season average of 21,899)
Mercer @ NDSU: 10,353 (61.7% of NDSU's regular season average of 16,789)
UIW @ SDSU: 8,671 (46.9% of SDSU's regular season average of 18,504)
The quarterfinal average was 10,822 which is 6th out of the 11 24-team playoffs since 2013. The running average through the first 3 rounds is 7,484 which is 9th out of the 11 24-team playoffs since 2013. I'd guess both of the semis, along with Frisco, should get in the 18k range but this year will still be in the lower half of attendance since 2013.

USD @ Montana St: 20,557 (93.9% of Montana St's regular season average of 21,899)
The semifinal average of 19,203 was 3rd highest out of the 11 24-team playoffs since 2013. The running average for this year's playoffs is 8,600 per game which is 5th out of the 11 playoffs since 2013. It seems like 5th out of 11 is where this year's playoff will end since Frisco should get 18-19k which won't move it up or down any.
On a related note I'm going to retire from tracking playoff attendance - I did it to try to try to see the direction we were trending in order to make a case for the playoff being more of a true tournament and less regional. With the 16 seed structure we had this year and will hopefully have going forward it seems like we finally have a true national tournament so mission accomplished!

I mentioned on another thread, the games yesterday were really electric, great fan support. I can see why few are taking the bait anymore on shifting to G5. With the FBS playoffs now in full swing, there’s now this giant void in the middle where these smaller bowls can’t even bring in 12,000 fans. I’m not sure how much longer that can last economically.
