man, Im so sick of hearing “the mourning” sfa fan. I didnt want em back. It only took our new AD 30 seconds to figure out the Wack was an idiotic move…and a near fan revolt. Jacks are up in Nac whining about that lost utah st rivalry game.

sfa finished 2nd to last in the Wack commissioners cup. The other crapola school the slc is all excited about, utrgv, finished last.

I think SFA's LB group will be it's strength on defense.

SFA returns starters Jermaine Brown, Luke Watson, and Aaron Austin with additions of senior grad. former Samford starter Josiah Cotton, Lane Lewis from Grambling State, and Tony Anywanu from Baylor.

I imagine SFA will be in the top 3 when the SLC preseason poll is released, top 4 for sure: UIW, Nicholls, SFA, Lamar.
If McNeese's defense (Micha Davey, new co-defensive coordinator, and experience via the transfer portal) can stop the run, we might win a game or two.

From Zem's Gems: "I still do not have enough information to start forming my opinion of the Southland Conference. I do know it will be more balanced this year because of the improvement of Lamar, HCU, Commerce, Northwestern State, SLU and McNeese. SFA will have one of the four best rosters in the conference if not the top three if you can believe recruiting. So, it is good for the league having them back. I will probably wait until Media Days so that I can get a read on the new portal additions and losses at each school. The SLC will have new coaches at NSU and Commerce which are always interesting."

The new coaches will be at NSU and HCU, not commerce.
This was also posted today (Friday) not Thursday. Us retired people have trouble keeping up with the days sometimes. ;-)
