Since 2003, the schools have split the four meetings between them, last in 2019 (Georgetown 14, at Cornell 8).
Both, however, were able to beat Lehigh last year. At Murray Goodman.

Funny how certain programs are so bad for so long. Cornell overall has had a ton of athletic success the last 25 years when you look at ice hockey, lacrosse and men's basketball. But football continues to be mush. DIII Ithaca College might be the biggest football school in town.

His teams were almost always competitive. I don't think he had any lower-division finishes.

Of course, his tenure coincided with unusual dry spells from Penn, Harvard, and Yale. But that wasn't his fault...

Part of that story was that Cornell kept hiring head coaches who used it as a stepping stone to better pastures before the program could take off.

They eventually hired a lifer alum who bled Big Red. Unfortunately, he wasn't the guy to lead them back to glory...

Outside of a three year span from 2008-10, Cornell basketball has struggled, but did better last season.

The Tribe would have a better chance to reach the NCAA Basketball Tournament from the Patriot League.
