They did this with all the other supposed championship incarnations. Keep stretching it out. Its going to take some team getting hosed again before the politicos get involved which will cause them to produce another study etc etc etc. Then do some no non important tweek to mollify the lesser teams so they think they have a chance of getting in.Quote:

If they want to change the playoff system I’d just do the four team playoffs after bowl season. Play the bowls, and pick the teams afterwards. It keeps the prestige of the big bowl games while ensuring a bit more fair selection process.
