Towson has also not released its schedule yet. What's their hold up?
Towson has sent out their home schedule if you've ever bought tickets through them before. You could probably figure out the whole thing by filling in the blanks from other teams schedules.
Hey W&M, thanks for poaching our top OL recruit (Cory Ryder)! This makes two CAA schools who have swooped in and taken OL recruits from us, the other being Jack Bowler (Richmond). Just great.
Its ugly out there. UNH had a commit, Brendan Devera, who decommitted from UNH, committed to UConn, decommitted from UConn when Diaco got fired, committed to Delaware after a visit, and then finally received an offer from Rutgers and is now committed to them. All of this happened since the December timeframe....
These kids...
That's college recruiting for you. Players decommit, coaches yank scholarships. I don't like it when some will say a player is free to move around all they want with their verbal commitments but God forbid a coach ever have to remove a scholarship in certain situations. Why isn't that a two way street?
This is why players verbal early to ensure a spot and then if something better comes along, they switch to that school. It happens... even at JMU.
Stacey Bedell at Stony Brook right now was a verbal to JMU. He then peaced the second he got a UMass offer (they had declared FBS by that point). I don't think he ever saw play time at UMass and ended up transferring to SB. Maybe UConn was involved at one point too? He was bouncing all over the place.
