Can someone explain how Lehigh beats Richmond and yet Lehigh is rated 18 and Richmond is 16?

Some voters likely didn't include Lehigh in their top 25 and did include Richmond (Lehigh did lose to Bucknell and Yale earlier in the season after all) and those of us who did include Lehigh in our top 25 probably only had them a spot or two above Richmond so it didn't take much for voters including Richmond but excluding Lehigh to make up that margin.

I think the 19 points for Idaho St maybe should've gone to Idaho??? In which case Idaho would move from #8 into a tie with Mercer at #6 but I'll fix it in the article if need be. Not a lot of movement for it being a final poll but that's to be expected when every game in between the first rounds and the championship was won by the higher seeded team.

It's one game. Richmond definitely fell in my poll. But they did go undefeated in CAA play. Lehigh, by comparison was not undefeated in PL play. Looking back, LFN probably wants to kill me. Maybe I tried too hard not to look like a PL homer -- I was really taking the time to look at all results and schedules and be fair. Perhaps I'd have Lehigh jump Jackson State and Tennessee State.
