This is some good news from JMU as some believed that support for JMU football would diminish after missing the playoffs the season after winning the national championship.

PRIORITY DEADLINE NEARING FOR JMU FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS
HARRISONBURG, Va., May 10, 2006 – With the May 15 priority deadline for renewing James Madison University football season tickets nearing, the university is well ahead its record pace of a year ago for season ticket sales.
JMU sold 3,640 football season tickets in 2005 and currently has sold 250 more season tickets than at this time last spring, said Mike Carpenter, JMU's director of ticketing.
For JMU ticket holders to retain the seats they've had in the past, season ticket orders and Duke Club pledges (including 50 percent of the total pledge) must be received by the May 15 priority deadline.
