DAVIDSON, N.C. – UNH linebacker Matt Evans (Hanover, Mass.) has been named the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Linebacker Performer of the Week, it was announced Monday. Evans racked up a game-high 17 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the then No. 9 Wildcats’ 28-10 victory over then No. 13 James Madison on Saturday at Cowell Stadium.
