After helping the Redbirds rush for 273 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in a 31-7 win over Western Illinois Saturday, Illinois State senior center Cal McCarthy was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week Monday by the league office.
