Albany vs. Bryant - Great Danes tower over the Bulldogs
CCSU vs. RMU - Tossed a coin. Battle of the Has-Beens. Going with the Blue Devils at home.
Monmouth @ SFPA - Hawks are unbeatable on the road!
Sacred Heart @ Wagner - Everyone who thought that the Pioneers would be 5-3 at this point please raise your hand. :p

I have to wait and see how my Albany partners in crime (Dane 96 & Danefan) pick as I am breathing down their neck in the pickem post.
CCSU & RMU broke my heart last week

Albany vs. Bryant - Danes are just warming up for the playoffs.
CCSU vs. RMU - I fear Central has deep problems - how can they play so well against JMU/UMass, yet so poor vs. SHU/SFPA?
Monmouth @ SFPA - Good win for the Flash, but Monmouth is better than CCSU.
Sacred Heart @ Wagner - Seahawks down too many players.

I haven't been following the NEC this season as closely as I should. I've taken note of Sacred Heart's success; Monmouth seems to be way up or way down. What's wrong with Central Connecticut, specifically? I kind of expected it to dominate, but that hasn't been the case at all.
I remain a bit of an Albany and Duquesne fan, but that's for separate personal reasons.

Here's my talking points on the disappointment in New Britain:
- Preseason respect (well earned), but overhyped; not that much actual talent returned except at QB.
- The running game is not nearly as strong as in past 5 years.
- QB banged up non-throwing hand in week 1 that has had a noticeable affect on his play.
- I think we are generally smaller and younger at most positions (except WR/DB) than in years past.
- Defense, especially tackling, is atrocious.
Unfortunately, I don't think the offense gets much better next year (we need a new QB), but at least the defense has nowhere to go but up.

Albany: This game has bad blood from last years loss. 8 in box to stop rb.
RMU: CCSU has quit
SFPA: I need to be different than Dane 96 & Danefan. I do think SFPA is capable of beating Monmouth
SHU: Wagner is beat up & looking to get the season over with

Albany vs. Bryant - I'm gonna be a homer and I actually think Bryant has a good shot at winning this game. Their losses this year could have all been wins and except for a few plays here and there (where the backup QB was in for a play or two, because Croce was hurt, he made some costly mistakes) they could be a 1 loss team.
CCSU vs. RMU - i'm picking CCSU to finally rebound this week.
Monmouth @ SFPA - SFPA doesn't have enough to win this week, Monmouth takes the win.
Sacred Heart @ Wagner - SHU continues to put together a decent season.

Not to be critical but Bryant had no shot against Maine. A late TD made the score appear closer than it was. Other than that i agree with you. I believe the Bryant game will be closer than Albany's other opposition.

Bryant had back up in a few times in the Maine game and they had 3 INTs inside the redzone in that game. So it was actually close, but I still think they would of lost.. I was more referring to the blown play calling at the end of the Monmouth game and the bad last possession vs. Duquense.

Even if Bryant pulls off the upset, I still think Albany is going to win the NEC.. I do not see them losing 2 of their final 3 games. However, anything can happen and Duquense seems to have an "easy" road to 9-2 (7-1).
