Demons picking up where they left off the last game, now lead Texas St. 14-0 with 2:44 left in the 1st quarter.

Texas St. FG with 28 seconds left in the half after a fumble by the Demons. Now Northwestern St. 14, Texas St. 10 at the half. The Demons started out strong in the 1st quarter but have since garnered 5 personal foul penalties and fumble(s) allowing the Bobcats to slip back into this one.

12:03 3rd. FG Demons after recovering a fumble from Texas St. Now Northwestern 17-10.

Demon TD on an Aldredge run of 20+ yards. Extra point blocked, now Demons 23-10 with 4:45 left in the 4th.

Final: Northwestern State 23, Texas St. 10. First home loss for Texas State this year. Another good year for the Demons, who are now 5-3 with the only losses to #1 LSU, a very good SMU team and a narrow 2 point loss to McNeese.

If we both take care of business next week, that SHSU-NWST match-up is looking as it may be a big one! We'll have to nominate it for Game of the Week and get our Demons, Bearkats to vote! ;)
