Came across this on the news wire from the pay site I'm a member of. Apparently, Kevin McMahan was fielding calls from various teams when the Raiders called him to tell him he was drafted by their team. Wonder if he was happy he got drafted or if he thought he could get a better situation by being passed up. Atleast he gets all the stuff that comes with being Mr Irrelevant though, eh?
"Mr. Irrelevant was fielding phone calls as a prospective free agent when he received a phone call from the Raiders. McMahan caught 59 passes for 893 yards for a 15.1 average and 13 touchdowns, leading the Black Bears in scoring. McMahan has 4.44 speed and was particularly impressive in a 25-7 loss to Nebraska, catching a 52-yard touchdown pass."
