Bison Fan, This game is already nominated. You need to say one of two things in this process:
"I nominate" for a game not yet nominated
or
"I second" for a game already nominated that you want to see in the list of teams for people to vote on. You can give seconds to more than one game. A nomination has a better chance of getting a top 4 or 5 seed to be voted on by accumulating more "seconds".
It seems somewhat natural to just post the game as a show of support but when you or others just post it as you did it will be summarily ignored and not count. Just trying to help bj out here for when he starts tallying these so go back to the original guys post that nominated that game, quote it, and just put "Seconded" or "I second this" and it will be counted.xthumbsupx

Geez....I second the NDSU/UNI game......ok?
I was just trying to use yuor post as a teaching point on the process my friend. You see in the olden times on here it was a pretty fun game that our friend OB55 used to run. It became pretty funny when people wouldn't follow his process and fight with him because of it.
I was just trying to help you so that at the end when your vote wasn't counted you didn't say "Hey man I seconded that game!" when you actually hadn't.
I wasn't trying to jump on ya about it just let you know so if it came off wrong my bad, I didn't mean it to be a post you took offense to.

We've got three more slots in this week's poll and two games that dont have a second so if you havent already nominated or seconded a game (remember you can second as many games as you want but you can only second them one time) make sure to do so

Yeah do it if you feel like seconding another one but I was kind of thinking this was a two horse race and it sure doesn't have to have 5 choices. If it's two, then it's two.
That should make for one hell of a vote battle anyway.xrotatehx

Georgia Southern vs Appalachian State - #1 @ #6:
With GSU knocking out App at home last year in the 21-14 OT victory, I can see it getting ugly for us up in Boone next weekend. No doubt App has that date circled in red multiple times - should provide a great game next weekend.

A couple of top 10 teams with 9 combined National Championships and an overall series record of 13-12-1, does not get much more competitive than that. Crowd should exceed 30,000 and the atmosphere will be electric! The winner of this game should have an inside track to a home game or two in the playoffs.

Can't really be wrong choosing either one of these games. It's obvious which game I think is the game of the week. In any case there's going to be a seismic shift in the top 5 for the first time since the first couple weeks of the season.

Heres a question, assume GSU wins. If the winner of the NDSU/UNI game wins convincingly Do they become the #1?

I don't think so. Maybe UNI would have a shot (although picturing them winning big just made me throw up in my mouth a little bit). But if GSU wins in Boone they retain the top spot regardless of how convincing the winner of the NDSU/UNI matchup is.
NDSU will probably drop in the coaches poll if we beat UNI.
EDIT: Everyone still has to win this weekend too.

In a few more weeks, ndsu might have 9 championships itself. ;)

As Butters points out, both of these are legitimate.
I went with NDSU/UNI, primarily because both teams have looked overall much better on paper.

Really? Much better? I'd argue that on paper GSU looks better than UNI or NDSU. We are #1 in scoring offense in total offense, and our scoring defense isn't quite as good as UNI or NDSU but considering how much our second string defense has played it's pretty good. App. State doesn't look quite as good as UNI or NDSU on paper, but the only FCS game they've lost to is a team better than any team NDSU or UNI has played.

What? You can't specify an exact time to end can ya? You just put in that the poll ends in like "X" amount of days...in this case it should have 4 so the poll would end at whatever time you started the poll on Tues. plus 4 days. I'd imagine that is at about 1p EST on Saturday if I got my guess correct.

Gotta take exception to this statement... The "current" App State and Georgia So. teams have NOT won a championship! They are in no better a position to claim dominance than either UNI or NDSU.
