Coyotes first FCS test outside the DakotaDome. IMO it will give us a better look at how good USD is. Winning at home is one thing but if you are a good team you must win on the road.

As I am listening to the radio broadcast on the net, it sounds like the Redbirds' defense is bending but not breaking. USD had some chances. I think the 2nd half will be just as exciting as the first.

To be fair, I believe Northern Iowa was the first FCS team South Dakota played after they left Division II. I think they're still 0-Missouri Valley.

Yea, this one really went to crap. The Yotes had a 78 yard TD called back early in the 3rd Q. that would have put them into the lead and it seemed like it just broke their back. They need to be tougher than that. Very disappointing to say the least. Crap!

Makes you wonder if this is a different team on the road than at home playing DII teams. I think UND is looking pretty good for the GWFC title.

You might be right. They very seldom play a good road game. I don't think Eastern Washington and Southern Utah are DII by the way. How did things go with University of Sioux Falls? Oh, but you beat Black Hills State.

But we beat SUU ON THE ROAD!!! I am saying if you can't win on the road you are not going to win a league title. You have 2 more chances to win on the road with Cal Poly and UND, while you have UC Davis, and DII Missouri S&T before the UND game (becareful your team could get surprised by S&T if they look ahead to UND).
