Next Saturday, May 6, 9:00 a.m. in the crisp, New England spring air.
They've been knocking the dog crap out of each other in Orono the past few weeks, I'm told. Some injuries, but nothing too serious.
Offense finding its feet with the new look. Replacing McMahan, Owens, Lazarski and Radulski will be no easy task. But Cos played A LOT of young guys last season, so hopefully a year of taking lumps will pay off. Two big recruiting classes ('05 redshirts and '06 newbies) will help, too.
Plenty of experience back on Defense. MLB Jermaine Walker a key loss, but rising Junior John Wormuth is more than up to the task. He is a take-your-head-off hitter.
If you're planning to be there, let me know (not that this board is overflowing with Black Bear posters).
