Sad to hear that Keith Jackson has finally hung up the mic. My all-time favorite announcer

Keith Jackson is an American classic, but he is like 107 years old...

Keith Jackson started to slip in the last couple of years but he is still the greatest ambassador college football has ever had. I know many of my childhood afternoons were spent listening to Keith. I will always remember the '98 Rose Bowl when he told Bob Griese it was ok to cry after Brian Griese led my Wolverines to the National title. :bawling:

Thanks for the memories Keith.

It's too bad his final game was the Rose Bowl. We'll miss him.

I wonder who is going to cover the Pacific 10 Conference games...

With Chris Schenkel dying earlier this year, an era has truly melted away.:(

I wonder if Keith could talk Chris Berman into joining him in hanging up the mic...

If Keith Jackson were calling the world series of checkers, It'd become compelling somehow. If Berman were calling the Super Bowl, I'd see what else was on TV.
