First, this game isn't over. Of course I'm not happy with the score, but we are going toe-to-toe with them.

I have no crow to eat. I said ODU could be good, but they hadn't proved it yet. After this week, I would put ODU in the top-25. Regardless of this game or ODU's previous games, ODU hadn't proved anything - I stand by that. Congrats on the season so far ... lot more games to go

New QB playing for the them today. They had 2 big plays, but other than that we are getting to the QB (We have 3 sacks for -21 yards). For an undersized D, we are playing decent.

Our offense is struggling tonight (and has for weeks). For the first time in years we don't have a great RB, plus we have a few injuries back there. Also, our QB broke his non-throwing pinkie, but has had a mit on his hand that has really affected play. No excuses, but our offense is a dissapointment from pre-season projections.

So close .... then CCSU missed the 2-point conversions to tie the game.

UMass returns the ensuing KO for 95-yards for a TD to extend the lead. Then, as CCSU drives deep into UMass territory down by 9 with less than 2 minutes left, UMass scores again on a pick-6 INT.
