The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (1-4/0-1 SLC) enter the annual Battle of the Piney Woods looking to get back in the win column after dropping four straight, including the conference opener at Central Arkansas. The 11th-ranked Sam Houston State Bearkats head to Houston as the league's hottest team (4-0/1-0 SLC). Among their four wins, the Bearkats have also recorded a victory over NCAA FBS New Mexico. The 86th meeting between the two schools is slated to kickoff at 2 p.m. from Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. It is the second consecutive season the rivalry game will be played on a neutral site.
