When Brown and Holy Cross meet on the gridiron, footballs usually fill the air. Saturday's (October 8th, 12:30 p.m. kickoff) game at Brown Stadium should be no different. Both squads feature potent passing offenses with record-setting results. Brown ranks 24th nationally in passing with 254.7 yards per game, while Holy Cross comes in with the nation’s ninth best passing offense, throwing for 300.2 yards per game. In 2007, Michael Dougherty ‘09 passed for a Brown record 526 yards against the Crusaders, while in 2009, Kyle Newhall-Caballero ‘12 completed an Ivy League record 46 passes against Holy Cross. Crusaders quarterback Ryan Taggart ranks fourth nationally with 329.8 passing yards per game.
