Coach Mike Ditka used to say kickers weren’t football players, although Bears’ all-time leading scorer Kevin Butler would strongly disagree.
Lowell grad David Lang is a football player and everyone at Butler University agrees the senior kicker is “Mr. Automatic.”
“That’s fine with me. Hopefully, I am automatic,” he said.
