Greg McGhee has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. A 6-3, 200-pound freshman quarterback from Pittsburgh, PA, McGhee completed 11of 17 passes for 158 yards and three TDs while also rushing for a 57-yard TD run in Howard University’s 34-14 win over Savannah State this past Saturday. The win snapped a 29-game conference losing streak dating back to 2007.
