HAS THREE JACKS IN TRES DIAS...&....12 RBI's.....AN' AFTER UH SLOW SEASON OPENIN'....AN' UH BOUT WHIFF TURF TOE.....HAS RETURNED TA SPRING TRAININ' FORM.......AN' ALL HE DID WAS CHANGE HIS SPIKES FROM 12 TA 12 1/2...:eek:...AWK!

Another Home Run and two RBI for Kevin last night (in a losing effort). Mench has now homered in four straight games and has fourteen RBI in his last five games. :eek:

I am a huge Rangers fan and in case you guys didn't know, Mench's nickname is Shrek. The man has a huge head, but he can sure swing that bat. I've got a Mench jersey t-shirt somewhere signed by him. Mench is a fan favorite in Arlington, but has been brought up as trade bait the past couple of offseasons. I hope he stays though, he is easily one of my favorite Rangers.

I played ball with Kevin's older brother who was sometimes know as Pumpkinhead. Large craniums run in the Mench family. :)

Last year a little kid brought a helmet painted like Shrek and gave it to Menchie. Mench then proceeded to wear it during batting practice. I think he still wears it from time to time.
