UGH is right. CCSU fumbles and turns over the ball for the 3rd time in the 2nd half. Game over :(

CCSU is not as good as expected, that's for sure. Our offense, while less one dimentional than in the past, has stalled too many times this year. The injury to QB Gunnar Jesperson non-throwing pinkie in game #1 has been huge. That mitt he is wearing is really hurting our offense for sure. We also don't have a #1 back as we've had in the past.

Our D which was my concern to begin the season is very suspect. We just aren't as big as our opponets and it is hurting us. We are still a "good" team, but far from great.

Yes, SHU is better than expected. College teams don't have a preseason like the NFL. The Marist loss is U-G-L-Y, but that was the 1st start for their new QB.

CCSU turnovers are killing us (-3). But if SHU didn't have so many penalties, this would have been worse.

Give The Heart credit, but this is a bad day for CCSU. :(
