Looks like progress has been made. Certainly a strange sight to see the ball in the air so much. Lots of room for improvement, but consider that these guys had their whole world turned upside down - I think they did well.
Chris Griffin threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Blue team to a 27-24 win over the White squad during the annual spring intersquad scrimmage. A crowd of 5,888 – one of the largest ever to watch a Spring Game – attended the Saturday afternoon (April 22) contest at Paulson Stadium.

I'd be really interested to see the final stats, if you've got 'em. How many yards rushing vs. passing?

We should have the best trio of receivers in the country. That just sounds funny to say, but Teddy Craft, Jayson Foster, and Reggie McCutcheon are going to be impossible to handle.

As long as we can get the ball to them, that'll be the challenge.

You may have the receivers, but I think the real challenge will be turning a triple option OL into an effective pro-style pass blocking unit.

Not only that but run-blocking out of that too - blocking in a spread option offense is different that a pro-style as well - there's no guarantee that GSU will be a great running team just because they were under the previous offensive set.

We have a great O-Line right now. That is one of our strongest areas. It is our defensive secondary that is giving us fits right now.
In other GSU news, Lamar Lewis (RB) is transferring to GSU from Florida St..
Looks like our running game will still be top notch, especially with the other 2 RB's he will have to compete with for a position.
As far as QB's go, Chris Griffin is amazing. He has a great arm, and can scramble better than eggs.
AND We are also getting a QB transfer out of a I-A school. Not naming names because nothing has been made "official" yet. However, a friend of mine from back home knows this fellow and he told me that the deal is done and he will 100% for sure, be in a GSU uniform next season.
Oh yes, for those of you who would like to see some clips of the new GSU team, go to:

Click on the "Play" button on the Eagle TV.
And also (man, I am about out of breath from all this typing:) ) the Savannah news station WTOC has been doing a great video series about GSU lately. Check that out in their "Eagles Nest" here:

Hope y'all are having a great day.
