Furman Beats Sixth-Ranked Clemson, 5-4
Case Cassedy's two-out, two-run double capped a four-run seventh inning rally and propelled Furman to a 5-4 win over nationally sixth-ranked Clemson in baseball action Wednesday evening at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. (more)

The Big South got in on the action earlier this week as Winthrop beat Clemson as well.

Of Course the other possibility is that since Joe resides 100 miles east of Wofford he is pretty close to Winthrops's back yard
