(Morehead, KY) - The USD Toreros (3-1; 1-0 PFL) overcame a 17-point deficit heading into the 4th quarter to rally for an exciting 48-44 road victory over Morehead State (1-3; 0-1 PFL) in each team's Pioneer Football League opener. Red-shirt sophomore QB Mason Mills came off the bench midway through the second quarter and rallied the Toreros with 5 touchdown passes. He finished the game 19-of-31 for 312 yards and 5 scores including the game-winner to freshman Brandon White from 13 yards out with 17 seconds left in the game. Four of his touchdown passes came in decisive fourth period.
