Last night makes it 9 wins in a row. This team will still be a contender.

I don't think anybody can write off the Yankees just yet, expectations for that team are high though.

You can never write off the Yankees. They got off to a slow start, but they are playing some good ball right now. Will they be a contender at the end of the year? Sure....but Baltimore and Boston could be the teams to beat in the East this year. The Yankees might be a wild card team this year. As for my Oakland A's, lets not go there. :(

West Champ- Angels
My A's don't have a shot :(
NL

Funny how people, including Steinbrenner, were writing them off after 30 games. There are 162 games in a season!!

God I hate the $#^!ing Yankees! Until they are mathematically eliminated, you can never write them off.

I totally agree Marcus.......Yankees do s*ck, but never write off 'the best money can buy' until their name is completely scratched off the list.....:anim_chai

Lets not forget the Yankees have been beating up on the Mariners & A's two of the worst teams in the AL.

My theory is that the Yanks began to take off when Bellamy Road made a fool of himself at the Derby. :deadhorse
