Payton

Although to be serious, Payton would be replaced by Ditka's hair gel.

Ditka
Payton
Sayers
Butkus (though I'd put Singletary there personally)

Make an argument over the other four.

No chance that Ditka and Payton are taken off. Sayers is the face of Chicago, and Butkus (or Singletary) personifies the Chicago Bear philosophy and mindset. I imagine this pick is who you'd want to take off, but having a Mr. Rushmore for the Chicago Bears without a defensive player is just unacceptable.

Rodgers over Favre? Fickle much?

What had Favre done that Rodgers hasn't at this point in his career? Rodgers has done things Favre didn't do in his first 3 seasons as a starter.

The only reason Rodgers won't touch some of the records that Favre has is because he had to sit behind him too long. Rodgers is the more complete QB and will be the greatest QB in Packers history when he is done...

For the New York Football Giants

Lawrence Taylor
Bill Parcells
Wellington Mara
Frank Gifford

And of course, that's without Sam Huff, Harry Carson, Phil Simms, YA Tittle, Michael Strahan and a whole bunch of old school Giants. I could be persuaded to knock off Parcells or Gifford, but LT and The Duke ought to stay on

The Eagles are rather tough. Bednarik is an absolute must, but others aren't as easy. Reggie White would be an obvious choice if he played his whole career in Philly. I would say McNabb if many Eagles fans didn't hate him. I went with Vermeil because he turned around a terrible franchise, and many Philly people still love the guy.

Dick Vermeil

If Andy Reid ever wins a Super Bowl he will replace Dick.

Seattle Seahawks:

Steve Largent
Cortez Kennedy
Pete Gross
12th Man

First two were no-brainers. Next player on my list would be Kenny Easley or Curt Warner.

12th Man has had as big an influence on the franchise as any other player or coach in the Seahawks Ring of Honor.

Reppies to the first who can identify the other member of my Seahawks Rushmore.

I'm glad you listed the Dallas Mt Rushmore before I did...it's difficult but I have to agree with you..with Honorable mention going to Aikman, Darren Woodson, Daryl Johnston, and Ed "Too Tall" Jones for what they did for the team

It's very tough. Hell I am in my 20's so out of that list I only have seen one of them play. But I respect history.

If I went off of players I have seen only...so since 1985. I would say Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Jason Witten, Jimmy Johnson. Much love to Darren Woodson though.

Agree...my earliest memories of the Cowboys are when Danny White was QB...

Halas should be there over Ditka. Halas won six NFL titles and over 300 games. He helped found the damn league. I think that earns him a spot over Ditka.

Toss up. D Green, to me, is the best corner ever. But, offense usually takes the top spot.
