Eastern Illinois opens the Ohio Valley Conference season against Tennessee Tech on Saturday night playing the second home night game of the year. This will mark the first time EIU has opened the conference season at home since 2008. EIU was picked to finish seventh in the preseason OVC poll while Tennessee Tech was selected to finish fifth.
