happens every year

I'm not usually interested, but this year it involves my Alma Mater, NC State

I wasn't a proponent of Sendek one way or the other, but I think it was best for him to leave. John Calipari was reported to have visited Raleigh with his staff yesterday(reported by Andy Katz of ESPN) and that was refuted by a local Memphis beat writer. I'd tend to agree with the local guy, than a national guy. The offer on the table for Calipari is at 2 million, and now Memphis is trying to round up money to compensate Calipari. Who knows where this will go, but NC State can only strike out so many times before they digress. Strike 1 Rick Barnes, Strike 2???

Jeff Capel is now rumored to be the next coach at Oklahoma

So now NC State has made 2 coaches richer. In the case of Calipari, it is clear that he used NC State to get more money out of Memphis. Can't say I didn't see it coming. I have no clue who is next on the list

Brady is next on the list. If he passes, odds are it will be a coach form a smaller program lookign to make a leap, like Hobbs at GW, Larranaga at GM, and perhaps even Gregg Marshall of Winthrop. There must be some real bad photos of Marshall out there as he still hasn't landed a gig other than Winthrop.

personally, I don't want Brady, he hasn't proven he can recruit outside of his state(look at his starters this year) and in NC, that is a problem. Personally, I'd rather have a guy like Larranaga or Billy Gillespie from Texas A&M. Also, Steve Lavin was a thought I have heard from a few others.
