Can someone explain to me how Montana is in the TOP 20 let alone the TOP 25?

Not seeing how ASU is hanging in the Top 10. Not sandbagging, not playing "down in the dumps." With the losses from last season, particularly at LB, WR and OL, I don't see them in the Top 10. I hope they prove me wrong, though.

Talent on the field, the fact that they played pretty damn well against an SEC opponent, 2nd year coaching and the team starting to grab on to the schemes on both sides of the ball.
I certainly would have them in the top 20-25 even if I weren't a fan. Some voters in the coaches poll may have been even more impressed with the way the played UT and although a little high I don't think it's unreasonable.

Oh. I didn't have them in the TOP 25.

Too high - emphasis on FBS games
That's not what people say when they win an FBS game, why should it be when they lose one?

Oh. I didn't have them in the TOP 25.
Well ya certainly don't have to have them either Grizza. There are different philosophies on this from many, many perspectives so it isn't like we can all agree on one thing here.
I just watched that game and I was more than a little impressed with the way the Griz played and can see a very good team out there. More than that though there is some real potential in some of those very young guys to come out of nowhere and be real f'n good where we thought we might have weaknesses.

ASU and W&M both get blasted and remain in the top 5. I don't think I understand that. Based on what I saw Saturday in Lane Stadium, ASU doesn't belong in top 10. We haven't shown anything to this point that should warrant our being 3rd.

I know. I was just saying how I had them ranked. I thought the D looked very good against the run and so-so against the pass. I saw a few mental mistakes and too many dropped passes, but the O looked like it could be good. I didn't do any polls last year but I was shocked to see them in the top 25 at the end of the season last year. I know the Griz lost this guy or that guy last year to graduation and I knew some aspects of this years team would be trial and error so that is why I didn't have them in the top 25. If they win next week they would grace it I think.

I don't know how anyone cannot rank Sacramento St. in the top 10.
Also, I think NDSU is much better than advertised, and no not based on our loss. They were on par with App St. from 2005 based on what I saw...

I can.
NDSU is not better than advertised, sorry to say...and not even close to App St. from 2005. That right there is an INSULT to App St.
