Central State football coach Theo Lemon is reportedly set to become the coach at Savannah State and that will be announced on Monday according to this article in the Dayton Daily News. WILBERFORCE | The news hit the Central State football program like a Ray Lewis forearm to the chops:
Head coach Theo Lemon is leaving the fledgling Marauders program he just resurrected from eight years in mothballs.
Monday, he'll be announced as the new head coach at Savannah State University in Georgia.
His CSU players — in the middle of spring football — learned of his departure Friday afternoon before practice. Lemon addressed them, as did CSU president John Garland and athletics director Theresa Check.
