Explanation Please (Lindenwood/UNC)

I'm not getting very frequent updates, but I see Northern Colorado losing 19-14 in the 4th quarter to a team who last season was NAIA.

Anyone have insight??

What explanation is needed.

Lindenwood University is transitioning from NAIA. They are based in St. Charles, MO and have been extremely good and dominating the NAIA. They are well coached and disaplined. LU probably benifits from being in the St Louis area and gets some good local talent that is simply overlooked by many schools.

I feel for you UNC, we got embarrassed 2 years ago with a loss to former NAIA champ Sioux Falls, and are going after payback in a couple months. Shake it off and try to have a good season.
