Awful first series from Dayton. Three-and-out, looked very confused and disorganized with redshirt freshman Will Bardo running it. RMU ran all on the ground the first few plays of their series.

Bardo completes a 7-yard pass to Brian Mack for the game's first touchdown. PAT fails. 6-0 Dayton, 4:19 left in first quarter. Dayton took advantage of an RMU penalty on 4th down to snuff out a Colonials drive, then a couple more penalties against RMU's defense put Dayton in great position to capitalize.

Good game. Maybe the hottest game I have ever attended. By the end, both teams were dead. I barely survived sitting in the stands, those folks on the field probably feel like they played 3 games today. Agree that Dayton's defensive line was the difference today.
