Teilane averaged a double-double 16.4 points and 10.7 rebounds, in 2005 she won Mid-Continent player of the year and defensive player of the year. She was also on the Mid-Continent All-tournament team for 2003 & 2004. She was Mid-Continent 1st team in 2004 & 2005. For her career she averaged 14.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, and almost 4 blocks a game very impressive!!!!!
2nd the Los Angeles Sparks selected Western Kentucky University guard Tiffany Porter-Talbert!!!!!!!! She is going home folks as she hails for Inglewood, California. She is a 3-time all-Sun Belt selection and was 2005 Sun Belt Conference player of the year. She also a 4-time Sun Belt All-tournament team. For a guard, this season she averaged 16.6 points and 8 rebounds a game!!! For her career she averaged 16.0 points, 7.9 rebounds, and .496 from the field. The Los Angeles Sparks will love their selection I guarantee it baby!!!!!!
The NCAA Tournament whiffed when they left WKU out of the tournament and was whisker away from the WNIT championship game. Shame on you NCAA Tournament committee.
