I don't agree with that. George Mason was a great story in the tourney but Gonzaga's season overall was better. It was mentioned 100 times during the Final Four, "what is Gonzaga thinking right now". They had UCLA burried and they choked. It's reasonable to think had they not completely fallen apart they would have been playing Monday night and given Florida a heckuva game. I know they would have had to have beaten Memphis but it seemed lt seemed like if they got to the elite 8 they were gonna push over the hurdle finally. They matched up very well with LSU too. If Gonzaga plays GMU over the course of the year 10 times the 'Zags would win atleast 7 times.

Bottom line is that George Mason excelled while Gonzaga choked.


Suprised to see NAU ranked 25th, while Delaware State (who beat NAU in the NIT) is way back in the Others Recieving Votes column.
