Yeah, I think the all white and the columbia blue jersey with white pants should be the 2 main looks with the other 2 being alternates.

Sorta? All they're missing is a lightning bolt and it's the exact same thing.

I like these new uniforms. Just because they have a bit of San Diego Chargers look doesn't mean that Southern shouldn't adopt them. I'm thinking that the home blue jersey ought to be combined with traditional white pants, though. I've never been too much of a fan of the all-one-color look.

Are the helmets the same?

One more thing - these unis are described as "Columbia Blue." Not really - we (in the Patriot League) play Columbia a lot, and Columbia's blue seems several shades lighter. The Detroit Lions, which copied the Columbia Lions color to begin with, are almost exacly "Columbia Blue." The new Southern unis look much more like Chargers blue, which is a better color, IMHO.

SU's Official Colors are columbia blue and gold. The previous staff switched the colors. I love the new threads but I wish we had Gold pants also. Thats more of a traditional look for SU with the Gold pants for home games.

I just saw clips of the 1979 Bayou Classic on youtube and Su actully had Columbia Blue helmets(even though a few guys had darker royal blue helmets on as well).

I was curious what was in the big pot. It looks like some of the players modeling the new unis hit the gumbo a little hard. Or maybe they're just linemen.
