TV Guide and DirecTV are saying that NOLA is not getting the Astros game at 6 PM on FoxSW...
Instead, we get Stars vs Sharks...what kind of crap is that?

They play the Diamondbacks on a Mon/Tues. night and Wed. afternoon. I'm glad, because that makes it easier for me NOT to go!

LoDuca makes hidden ball trick work, Soriano "out" at home, Nats drop opener to quite possibly the most hyped Mets team ever, 3-2. David Wright named 2006 MVP.
Maybe we can fly a little lower pre-All-Star-break this season, so the letdown isn't quite so hard down the stretch.
The AL's best SS/3B combo provides 2 of the O's 4 homers as they beat Tampa Bay 9-6. Not too shabby.
Larry Bowa, the Yankees coach...sheesh...

Oswalt pitching masterfully through seven.
Willis threw over 100 pitches and he ended his night after five innings...
Astros limited to one hit, though have left seven stranded...
Just like last season! 0-0, 7th inning stretch...

Final was 13-5. I was there in the drizzle, although my seats are under cover. Except for the 8 run fourth inning, it was a close game...

Where were you sitting? We were right in front of the scoreboard...so I got kinda wet...but not too bad...it never did really get too hard...the one homer landed about 8 rows in front of me...

New York Yankees 15 - Oakland Athletics 2
A-Rod caps off a 7 run 2nd Inning with a Grand Slam, chasing Zito after 1 1/3
Johnson pitches 7, 5 hits, 1 run (HR to Frank Thomas), 3 Ks
Matsui also hits 3-run homer in the 4th
Yanks get baserunners off of 17 hits, 9 walks, and 3 hit batsmen
Opening Day wins always seem so much nicer than most of the others  :)

That homer by Pujols was a poke. That upper deck has only been reached about 6 times in the two years of the park.
We have seats in Sec. 227. Just a tad up the line from homeplate on third base side.. I picked them myself when the stadium opened by going online with the stadium plans and figuring out which seats were undercover, had the sun behind you and prevailing winds, plus being in last row which lets me stand and not block anyone's view! One of the few times in my life all the plans fell together!:)
