McNeese State and Stephen F. Austin are among the teams that should battle for the title in a league that loses Texas State and Texas-San Antonio to FBS

The Southland Conference is going through changes.
Gone is Texas State, who is in the process of moving to the FBS Western Athletic Conference in 2012.
The Bobcats will be joined in the WAC by Texas-San Antonio, who currently plays all other sports besides football in the Southland, before it even plays a SLC football match-up.
Those two schools will compete
