Now that you got your wish and Sendek is gone, good luck finding someone who will lead you to the status of UNC and Duke, which is what you've been whining about. Guess what, it won't happen for a while and may never. Have fun not being able to make the tournament for the next couple of years. You lost a good coach.

I still can't believe Arizona State hired this guy. He wasn't what they were looking for (a west coast guy).

Sendek was a solid coach but the team just never got over the hump. They were often brutal to watch and always had trouble winning big games. After 10 years, sometimes it's just a good idea to give someone else a chance to try to lift them to the next level.

Montana keeps Krystkowiak for atleast one year (he was expected to be the pick for ASU)

And, from what you guys are saying, it will be fun kicking around ASU some more with the help of the rest of the Pac 10.

I'll be really happy if we can get a big name like Rick Barnes (I think he has a clause that says he can leave texas to go back to the ACC). Yea Herb was a good coach but he just couldnt win the big game. NC State should be competitive with Duke and UNC-ch and should be able to compete for an ACC Championship on a regular basis.

DDG---you would not BELIEVE the amount of airtime Krysto was given down here....after Majerus was out of the mix, ALL talk radio could talk about was Krysto and how he was the perfect fit. I have to admit, as much as I hate to, that I'd like to see Krysto here at ASU....and ONLY because I don't expect him to be at UM very long and if he isn't there, I'd like to see him HERE building ASU into a Pac-10 power...

Unless Coach K and Williams decide to all the sudden leave........NC State
won't be at the status of UNC and Duke....and may never.
They should give Mike Davis a call..
