Alcorn State, MS—Although, the temperature ran in the high 90s, the Braves were energized throughout the duration of practice. Today's focus is on the Wide Receiver Corp, returnees for the dynamic group include Terrance Lewis and Simon Collier who combined for 41 receptions for 639 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns during the 2010 football season, Q: What are some of the main pieces of advices that you give to the wide receivers?A: Play faster, catch the ball and finish. Q: You have Simon Collier and Terrance Lewis returning what are your plans for them this upcoming season?A: They are the focal points of the wide receiver corp and if they can handle the bulk of the load then they will receive considerable playing time. Q: Are there any of your players who seem to be standing out more than others?A: Anthony Garrison and Tollette George have really caught my eye over the last few days. They are a good group of guys but young with lots of potential. Q: Do you see any similarities between yourself and any of your players?A: Simon Collier reminds me of myself with his hands. He has great potential and good hands. Douglas is entering his first year as the Wide Receivers Coach at Alcorn State University. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native attended Glen Oaks High School and played collegiately at Grambling State University. During his collegiate career at Grambling State, Douglas broke Jerry Rice's SWAC record for receiving yards in a season in 2002. He also played one season with the Tennessee Titans and is the father of Tramon Douglas, II.
