I like the tops and I was really digging the new look until I saw the stripes on the pants. Maybe they're supposed to be evocative of cat whiskers or something but that part -- and that part alone -- seems like something out of "Catamount!: The Musical". Other than that, me likey.

Like the color of gold, but do not like the stripes. Thought the old purple helmets with script The Cats in white, purple tops with white pants was the best looking uni you guys ever had. You have to take into consideration I'm an old fart who likes a traditional look.

I like it. Think it's an upgrade personally, though that's just from looking at the shirts (stupid no flash on iPhone). But didn't WCU just get new unis 3-4 years ago?

When they released the new logo they upgraded their uniforms. This year they just changed the stripes and the color purple.

I like the new threads. I'm also not a huge fan of the stripes on the side of the pants, but overall they're looking pretty sharp. Definitely an improvement.

Nice uniforms but like both jerseys better with the gold pants. The stripes on the pants are a little too much but the gold pant softens it a bit. I too liked the old helmut with "the Cats" in script.

I like it, but if I was a WCU fan I would hate that they went away from the purple. It's almost a UTC blue

Very nice looking uniforms. Don't like the white shirts with the purple pants quite as much. The gold stripes on the pants clash with the all white and purple shirts. . . . .need white stripes on the purple pants to match the all purple and white shirts.

Yeah I wore that under my marching band uniform. The black member shirts are required if you want to take the jacket off, and trust me it was way to hot to keep that thing on.

Not 100% sure when the spades turn. 100% chance of making the Boone trip, but will be coming in late Friday night after flying from New York to Atlanta, then driving to Hickory. Long story. I'll catch up with you on email.

I agree a little more focus should be on the field... but I do like the new unis... not a huge fan on gold helmets but hey i am app grad...
