SFA has gotten rid of all of the red in their football uniforms.

Purple and White, with Black trim, and made by Nike.

I think it was the Hotel Fredonia's lighting, but the jersey and pants seem a slightly different hue. Guess we'll see week one. The helmets (which they didn't photograph) look great without the red trim.

The turf looks black.

They are on the endzone line and the endzones are black. Also, the purple looks darker due to the lighting for the picture.

Love the new SFA look. NW needs to get rid of that orange trim too. It wasn't like that traditionally. The purple and white is classy enough by itself.

White on white on white is a great look.

Furman has (apparently) ditched the purple facemasks for white ones in the 2011 season. We'll see how that changes things.

Personally I like there to be an accent color. These seem way too monotone. I think the red would look good on those uniforms. Just as trim around the numbers or something. It just seems to need something more too me.

it's hard to see..which is disappointing..but anything that was red was replaced with black.

I like the darker shade of purple better and all that white is too much.
