A nice rundown of how App alumni fared in week one preseason games:

Highlights include Armanti, who was the broadcast team's player of the game in the Panthers opener against the Giants. I think it was 46 return yards plus a beautiful 36 yard completion from Newton.

However, DJ Smith, Jason Hunter, Marques Murrell, Corey Lynch, and other defensive greats also had good first weeks.

Here's hoping it continues into regular season play.

Nice article here on Legree. Love his work ethic - should do him well in the NFL.

Not mentioned was the near punt block by Lynch and the ensuing recall by the announcer who also was calling the Mich game, was funny for most I'm sure, painful for others.

I watched the SF game and Kilgore may have been one of the very few bright spots on their OL. Sacks and INTs a-plenty during that game.

Fletcher apparently injured and an outside shot at making the squad, hope he can pull it off though.
