Kelvin Sampson is expected to be hired as the next head coach at IU

I had no idea that Sampson's daughter works at CoC.

Good move for him - IU is one of the premier programs in the country.

3-4 years ago, the conventional wisdom in Tucson was that Kelvin Sampson would be Arizona's first pick to replace Lute Olsen when he retires. Sampson coached at Wazzu when current UA AD Jim Livengood was there.

Well, recently, there have been some recruiting problems at OU and I guess Sampson threw some assistants under the bus. I'm not sure if Livengood would be so eager to hire him now. After the John Mackovic fiasco, he wants to preserve his legacy.
