Last season, Bethune-Cookman made themselves known on a national scale with their play on the field, moving up in the national rankings, and wrapping up at 15th in the FCS, with a share of the MEAC Championship and an HBCU National Championship title. Wildcat awareness also increased with three televised games including a tape-delayed Hampton game and the "Blackout" game against North Carolina A&T, in addition the B-CU's annual appearance in the Florida Classic on ESPN Classic. However, showcasing the 'Cats in 2011 has even greater opportunities in the upcoming season.
