Hopefully these rankings don't cause another theological debate.

Sagarin preseason is indeed inspired by God, so that would be appropriate.

Looks like the inspired by God rankings have most of the CAA in the top ten and and most of the Socon in the 11-20 areas (ASU being the exception at number two)

Furman is 17xrotatehx If I counted correctely

What a joke... I am sorry bc I do like his rankings most of the time... my problem isnt with the where teams are placed but rather that you feasibly have computerized rankings before the first game is played!... how does that even make sense...

I guess teams in the top 18 have to come from I think 4 conferences... what a joke...

I guess he has to start somewhere. The argument is usually that the rankings get better as the season progresses. Well duhxlolx

Which team from outside of those leagues do you think would deserve to be there? Not justifying Sagarin or any computer poll, all you have to do is look at Villanova at #1 and that's all you need to know, but you have the CAA, the Southern, the Big Sky, a notch down to the MVFC, and then another notch down to the Southland, and then get out the parachute.....

Agree that it has to start somewhere, but where does the initial data come from?

I would say the CAA, SoCon, Big Sky, and MVFC are all pretty equal. The CAA has lost some of its panache over the last couple seasons, and the SoCon minus App State is probably no better than the Big Sky or MVFC. North Dakota State nearly beat the eventual national champion last year, and they were arguably the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference last season.

Absolutely. The CAA is only better than two FBS conferences, they can't even catch the WAC. Stick a fork in the CAA, they're done. Time to contact the Irsay's and see if we can't get some Mayflower moving vans so we can bolt to the midwest in the middle of the night.

Have you been paying attention? The CAA has won 4 of the last 8 FCS championships, and has played in 7 of the last 8 finals...

Yep. They've clearly fallen off too. It's obvious that before long they'll all be losing to Mount Union. Anarchy in the UK already over this.

@ #70 Fresno St
vs #137 Cal Poly
@ #153 Southern Utah

Just 3 teams below us so its an uphill climb for UND.

If the CAA gets any worse, they'll have to start playing it the Western Kentucky Conference.

Oh yeah man. I'm ashamed honestly. Winning the conference every year is very unsatisfying. If only we could be like Chattanooga and never lose a game, but just hand inferior teams victories. Now THAT is the premier program in the SoCon. I mean their stadium is the mecca of FCS football.
