He did just guide the team to the cusp of the postseason (I certainly think they had a legit case for it), and now they appear to be set up for a good run this fall. Maybe 4 years seems long, but if your team is poised to take off like a lot of Penguin fans on the board seem to think, changing horses this offseason would have been a pretty bad idea.
