Beginning in October, a consulting firm will take a long, hard look at the Angelo State athletics program to assess whether a move to Division I is worth considering.
With teams moving out of the Lone Star Conference and Southland Conference and movement within the Big 12, there are conversations going on within Division II about being strategic about membership growth, ASU Athletic Director Kathleen Brasfield said.
